24 in Your Car is a 24-hour-live-in-your-car-a-thon designed to bring awareness to the issues of homelessness, and funding to support the programs helping homeless women and children at Shepherd’s Gate—where the cycles of abuse, addiction, and poverty that lead to homelessness, are broken. During the 24 hours of the event you will experience first-hand some of the challenges of being homeless and living in your car. You will hear stories from people who have experienced homelessness, be engaged by various activities, work on service projects for the homeless, and enjoy live music and discussion groups. You have never been involved in anything like this unique event. You will be stretched and challenged. You will want to laugh, cry and reflect. You will leave forever changed.
